New to elk hunting. Got three bulls on my trail cameras this week but none of them have branched antlers yet. Are these bulls going to be spikes in September or will their antlers develop tines between now and then? Pictures are from the last week.
Unit is 3pt minimum.

Spikes or two points (maybe).
Not branched bulls.
Send them my way.

Those are some fine west side spikes ;)

I would say so. There pretty small and still look like they could be nursing

Spikes for sure...main frames should be established by now, just add length the rest of the summer..

I’d say bulls are mostly done growing by now. Maybe they’ll add a little bit more but not much. What you see is what you’re gonna get come hunting season.

Those are trophy’s!! Send them east!
