Title: License for albacor
Post by: plugger on July 08, 2019, 05:00:03 AM: Do you need a license to fish albacore? Cant seem to find much in the regs. Also will be launching on the Oregon side of the CR. Would I need an Oregon license since I will be leaving the river?

When fishing in the Columbia yes and not in a tributary for the license you do not have, You can put in or out from either side to fish the shared waters of the Columbia from a boat. He’s leaving Oregon and fishing the ocean he needs an Oregon fishing license. Also a catch card if salmon fishing.
