This one is probably silly.....I just got a silverback the other day and while I love it, something seems off. On the first few shots it releases as soon as I let off the safety but after maybe 10 shots or so I'm pushing and pulling hard trying to get it to release. Could this simply be fatigue/variation in my form or an issue with the release itself? I'm guessing user error but it seems like a wide gap to go from firing from releasing the safety to really struggling to get it to break.

yes i would say you are fatiguing and your front shoulder is creeping. you could be pulling too hard into the back wall at first.
i shoot a carter evolution (basically the same as the silverback) and the preload on the release is very important.
check out Dudley's video about setup and shooting the silverback. it's very good info.
