We just enjoyed a 2 day shrimp opener in the Hood canal and wow they were big.....skok kings are still just showing up, tons of seals to deal with but nice fish. Tomorrow I am headed out to area 9 and fish point no point for kings and set some crab traps somewhere. Sekiu is going to be awesome for kings from now on as will P.A. Westport should start firing up better and September COHO this year I think will be amazing! Just get past those pinks who will likely be everywhere. They are already showing up at the Hoodsport hatchery. Skok natives are getting them with their beach nets.

so it's easy pickings on Pinks south Hood Canal right now and they are bright. Just outside Hoodsport hatchery if guys want to beach fish or troll white flashers with pink hoochies. We are targeting the skok kings but the pinks are coming in full.
