Title: Anyone Use "Big Tine 30-06" for deer
Post by: jrebel on August 29, 2019, 09:14:37 AM: The reviews are pretty good and I was thinking about trying it in my feeder as a change of pace for the critters. Currently I just use whole corn.

Antler max is hard to beat (whole corn probably even better), but that price is very comparable to antler max. I once had a buck return to a single corn cob that was fully de-kerneled just to hold it in his mouth, put it back, only to return several more times to repeat the process.

I was looking at that.....and am really interested in the bulk. I have storage and my feeder holds 300lbs at filling. I go through 300 lbs every 6-7 weeks so the 2k tote would get me almost a year.

I was thinking about cutting it with whole corn to save money.

Sounds like a good plan, just make sure your storage for it is rodent proof.....
