I drew a pick #1 for the first time this year and have a #8 on a couple of days that I hope will be good.
How did everyone else do?

When is it open to enter the lottery? I moved to the area the spring and checked a couple times without seeing an option to enter until after it had closed. I want to make sure I dont miss it next year.

The waterfowl lottery opens mid-August usually, and submittal deadline this year was Sep 13.
I got skunked for Umatilla draws for the first time ever. Darn it. Drew a #8 at McNary, and a couple mediocre picks late goose McNary draws. But at least I drew something there.
My buddy drew a #2 at McNary this year, but his schedule changed after he applied and he can't hunt that date now. Doh!
I've never hunted McNary before so will see how it compares to Umatilla. Ridgefield draws are due out next week I believe, as are the first of the Sauvie dates (period A).

I drew a #3 on a Sunday and #7 on Thanksgiving. Not sure if either of them will be worth hunting but only time will tell.

I drew a #1 at McNary the first weekend in Nov.
We hunted McNary a few years ago and did well. Shot my first Specklebelly goose there. From what I remember, the blind we hunted was falling apart and 1/2 way in the water so we were standing in water all day. Anyone know if they've done any blind updates in the last 6-7 years?

I drew a couple Sundays in late December and late January, pretty late numbers though. Drew 3 late goose days too with picks from 6, 8, and 13 I think.

I drew a #1 and a #2.
