Don’t know much about the differences with rings and bases other than the basics I’ve looked up. I’m seeing a huge range in price 15 bucks to 400 bucks.
I am buying a tikka light 270 win and want to put my vortex crossfire 2 on it 4-16x50
The manual of the scope says I need 30mm rings.
Any opinions on what I should get reasonable price. Taken me a while to save for the scope now I can buy the rifle. I don’t want to spend more on the rings and bases than I did on the scope. Mostly a deer rifle.

My recommendation:
Game Reaper Tikka T3 - Low Mount - catalog # 28550 (30 mm)

Available on Amazon.com.

Thanks Igor I’ll look into those

my recommendation would be a set of rings high enough to accomodate a 50mm objective. Probably a high mount.

I'm using this
http://www.egwguns.com/tikka/
0 MOA rail - I like the rail because you can use any picatinny ring on top, doesn't need to be tikka base specific
https://www.burrisoptics.com/mounting-systems/rings/xtreme-tactical-rings
WITH: Optonal Picatinny rail on top of ring allows for attachment of accessories on top of a mounted scope
I had a coyote light on top of the scope mount at one point, no longer there as I went dedicated AR

overall it adds a bunch of weight to the gun, but it is robust.

Hawkins hybrid long range rings. I think Bertram brass sells the tikka ones.
