Title: Wyoming deer hunt for my son
Post by: sjhgraysage on December 01, 2019, 04:42:50 PM: I just updated how my OIL Moose hunt went in the No Kettle Range moose thread.
On a happier note my teenage son drew a limited whitetail license in Wyoming starting Nov 1st. We got there in time to hunt in the morning of day 2. It was a little slow and whitetail were not nearly as numerous as mule deer. He got it done on the evening of the 5th day. We had a wonderful time together and he took his first whitetail buck. He also saw some really nice mule deer bucks we mostly dream about here in Washington.

And in the same hunting unit we saw: mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, pronghorn and bighorn sheep. Along the way we also saw bison, elk, eagles and coyotes.
