Title: 336/stampede Pass Cow Elk
Post by: TheDudeAbides on December 05, 2019, 06:05:00 PM
Hey,

I'm thinking about heading out towards the back roads of Stampede pass saturday for a hail mary on late archery.  Are there any elk (cows) back in there still?  Is it worth the trip? Thanks much for any advice that can be offered.

Not a chance.  The snow has come and the elk are way low and likely in the feeding station.  Hunt the far eastern edge if you want a chance and hunt low.
