Dont get any better in my book.
-
7x7, cuz that's what I shot this year :IBCOOL:
-
True spike!
I voted 6x6 but mature bulls can be perfect in many ways.
In the end Any elk is a trophy
-
I voted anything that fit on the barbie, but I like my elk like my deer, trashy.🤣
-
OMG
-
Yes that’s perfect enough for me
-
You guys are all wrong. Its "all of the above"
Sorry I just had to be "that" guy.
-
personally, I like 8x?'s

Then there's my old man's favorite "close to and just above the road" elk.

That is awesome bull but what makes a great bull is the bull. It could be a 6 pt or a 7 pt or even a 5 pt it just depends on the bull that we get so see. Every bull is different in there own way and that is what makes them so great.

Ya, I guess he’d do in a pinch  He’d get my full attention for sure. Beautiful bull Bone, thanks.

The WDFW is looking for the choice "limping three legged Elk close to popular hiking trails".
-
Need to put a date in there, August 15, after a good forage summer, makes a bull look special. December 1, after defending cows and losing a few hundred pounds, they can look tough.
-
That's an awesome bull! I voted BBQ. It kinda depends on whether we are talking dream, or actual elk on ground. The perfect elk on ground can change with a variety of factors. But my dream bull will always be a mature big frame minimum 6 per side with extras, mass, and color is huge for me black with ivory tips.

A dead elk is a good elk.
Actually to go with the topic. The perfect elk is a dead elk.
-
6x6 is what I imagine .... That bull is amazing
-
Beautiful bull. IMO the purest beauty for an elk rack is a 5x5.
-
That is a perfect bull imo. I love big symmetrical 6x6 bulls the most.
-
beautiful bull for sure...but perfection sign me up for dark horns and a wider spread ivory tipped . no disrespect
-
No wrong answers here, none taken.
-
I'll take thickness and width, of course long tines and beams. But I've seen many different perfect elk, one of my favorites was a big 5 point, he wasn't getting any bigger and he was magical.
-
Big 5s are super cool. Anything mature got my vote
-
I took my son out last spring on his 5th birthday to do some scouting, and we saw a cow elk bedded down with a new born calf. We watched them for the better part of the morning from a neighboring ridge. I told my son that calf was going to grow up to be the "Bull of the Woods". He thought that was pretty cool.
That was about the most perfect elk I've witnessed.
-
year and a half old cow 50 yards above the road is the perfect elk.
-
I voted anything with antlers, but my perfect bull would be a Rosie that was crowned and had a bunch of trashy stuff going on.
-
Anything legal in my book. Still trying to get my first. Missed one this year :bash:
-
I love Mass ! age class closest thing i could choose was a 7x7
