Today I took advantage of the deals Green Mountain has going that ends today. I picked up a Jim Bowie with WiFi for $499 it was to good to pass up even though I would have liked the newer Prime models. I have kinda lost my smoking spirit the last few years so hopefully this brings it back.

Welcome to the club. Just took a Turkey off of mine. Doing some ribs tomorrow
-
I love mine, but i have never used the wifi so I could have saved a few bucks.

I just got mine all setup and it’s currently on the initial seasoning stage. I’m not going to lie, the WiFi setup kicked my butt :chuckle:
I’ve got a brisket seasoned up and ready to go for tomorrow.

So jealous of the prices I kept seeing it's ridiculous. Congrats though paid quite a bit less than I did for the DB. The WiFi is so sweet! Even if you never tap into all the features of wifi/server mode the low pellet alarm and meat probe alerts on the phone are worth it.

Sweet! 👍
Can’t think of a better way to kick start the fever, than with a brisket. 😉🥃🇺🇸

Grill worked great.

Nice money shots Jason🤑🤑🤑🤑😉🥃🇺🇸

Jason, I'm a bit jealous of that price, I just got a Jim Bowie as well and love it. First up was a turkey and I know I shouldn't open the lid (especially with a probe sending temperature updates to my phone) before it's done, but I had to sneak a pic to let the family know it was about ready. Then just last night I did a moose roast! If anyone has moose meat and they don't know what to do with it, I'd be willing to take it off your hands. ;)

Looks delicious! I’ll have to try some moose steaks on the grill.
