If we don't take a stand we are going to get buried this year. Its shaping up to be the worst anti-gun year in Washington history.

Planning on this one. From the link looks like I-1094 to repeal unconstitutional I-1639 failed? Are there any other open attempts to get rid of it?

They did not collect enough signatures to get it on the ballot, but its not dead yet....

Just a reminder...
-
How long is the rally running? It said it starts at 9 am but no end time?

I didn't see either, typically 1-1/2 to 2 hours

Any idea on what effect the weather might have? I wanted to run from Marysville but if the weather is really gunny sack, might be dicey

Neither the weather nor the weekday is helping. The ST will sure exploit the turnout.

Haven't read them all yet- undoubtedly their objective. Feel free to add to the list- there are more that may need to be included.
https://www.nraila.org/articles/20200116/washington-additional-hearing-scheduled-on-gun-ban-bills
The following bills are scheduled for a hearing:
House Bill 2240 https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=2240&Year=2019&Initiative=false
would ban the manufacture, possession, sale, transfer, etc. of magazines that hold more than ten rounds of ammunition. This measure is strongly supported by the Governor and the Attorney General, and would severely limit your ability to defend yourself and your loved ones. This is the companion bill to Senate Bill 6077 https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=6077&Initiative=false&Year=2019 , which the Senate Law & Justice Committee will hear on January 20th.
House Bill 2241 https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=2241&Initiative=false&Year=2019
would ban certain semi-automatic rifles and magazines that hold more than ten rounds of ammunition. HB 2241, like its predecessors, would do nothing to impact crime or keep Washingtonians safer.
House Bill 2519 https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=2519&Initiative=false&Year=2019
would ban online sales of ammunition, and potentially require background checks for all ammunition purchases. This bill comes on the heels of California’s failed ammunition background check system and is being supported by the Attorney General.
House Bill 1374 https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=1374&Initiative=false&Year=2019
would abolish Washington’s decades old state preemption statute, allowing localities to pass any gun control measures they see fit. Repealing preemption would lead to a confusing patchwork of local laws, making it extremely difficult for even the most well-meaning, and otherwise law-abiding, gun owners to avoid inadvertently becoming criminals. The hearing will be held on a substitute bill that has not yet been released.
House Bill 1315 https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=1315&Initiative=false&Year=2019
would require onerous government red tape and further training to obtain a Concealed Pistol License. Training requirements are yet another cost prohibitive measure intended to ensure that lower income Americans are barred from defending themselves. The hearing will be held on a substitute bill that has not yet been released.
Additionally, on Friday, January 17th, the House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing on House Bill 2467 https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=2467&Initiative=false&Year=2019, which would create a single point of contact background check system in WA. This bill has been introduced by a bipartisan group of legislators in an effort to streamline the background check system in Washington. Instead of conducting CPL-holder firearm purchases through the existing process, which can up to take 10 days, an automated check system would restore an instant check, similar to the NICS check that was previously used. While some groups have mischaracterized this bill as an “excise tax” on all firearm transfers, no fees have been set and this topic remains an important point of discussion. Your NRA has a seat at the table of these discussions and will continue to advocate on behalf of gun owners as this process continues.

With their rally being scheduled on a federal holiday,on the weekend with mass media announcing the rally,no snow storms closing passes almost daily i am not a bit surprised that their rally was a great one. Here in WA. our capital is in the anti everything part of the state.Eastern WA. residents love our freedoms. We had almost no advertising of the event at all. JUST :twocents: Hard for the people that care about this stuff to fight for it by showing up to these rally's if we don't know and can't get time off from work or roads are closed to get there.
