Looking on the wdfw website and cant find the answer to my question. Hoping you guys can help. As a general rule of thumb the rifle opener is the first saturday after the 10th of Oct... right? So I have to bid my vacation for 2020 and dont know if the opener will be Oct 10th or Oct 17th? Does anybody have solid info on this?

if youre putting in for vacation time, I wouldn't put in for mf opening weekend zoo. id wait a few days. :twocents: but that's me. others may see it differently. but seems to me that 80% of the numbskulls disappear 3 days after the opener, and the hunting will be much more enjoyable and productive.
if ive got a multi season in my pocket and I happen to be home on a mf opener I wont even go out anymore. ill just sit home for a few days and wait for all the *censored*ess to go back home before I bother

thanks for the reply guys! as far as the opening day zoo we hunt private land. Door knocking 30 years ago still pays off to this day :IBCOOL:

hell ive got permission on 2k acres of private, I still wont go out opening weekend of a mf season, too many idiots running around on the public all around it, and without fail a number of them are going to be trespassing aholes, and im going to end up getting thrown in jail over a confrontation. I prefer just to wait it out.
