Title: ocean lings

They are very good... make amazing fish and chips ;) and you are right they are ugly and have huge sharp teeth :rolleyes:

Post by: Hunterman on April 18, 2009, 09:13:23 AM: I found a way to stun lings to get the hooks out. Just slid you hand under thier gill plate and lift. They don't move. Found this out by accident one day with a 25 pound ling..

I hoping to get out a few times this year at Westport. Maybe do a little camping at Twin Harbor State Park..

That is an average every day forecast for out there and I can't understand how a guide is cancelling trips based on that report. Maybe I'm missing something but it seems wierd. Maybe he had a hot date?

Well, I got the boat out of storage and it had a lot of green and mildew growing on it. Crazy how that can happen in just a few months. Cleaned it good but didn't get anything substantive done on it.
