Remember the thread a while back about some buck from the Nile scoring in the 200's or something like that? Someone thought that the buck was at the Yakima Sportsmans show. It wasn't, but I stopped in at Whistlin Jacks, and this picture was on their wall there. Don't know what it would score, but holy christ. Dandy general season buck. Didn't know that area had trophies at all. Does anybody know the story?

Thanks for the update.

Ya I know, not 200. But the Nile? Who knew?

Incredible deer for that neck of the woods for sure.

Yeah that is a dandy buck. Some of you might remember a real nice wide buck that came out of Bumping last year. He was in the washington fishing and hunting mag for the king of the mountian issue.

:chuckle: Oh yes!!! Everybody hunt the Nile !!!! :chuckle: But really, there are not a whole lot of deer there, but there are some dandy's to be had if you put in the effort.
-
There are a few decent bucks killed up in the Nile during the late bow season as well.
-
thats a nice buck but it ain't 200. I would drop his ass!
-
The nile is the place to deer hunt for sure.. Probably the best in the state!!!! :chuckle:
-
That is definitely a nice buck no matter what it scores, especially for general season in the Nile. I love the character on that one.

I've been hunting the Nile for almost 10 years now and I've seen some monsters in there. Late archery brings the biggins out of the woodwork. I also see a lot of big bucks during modern elk season when those deer are just starting to rut. 2 of the biggest bucks I've seen in washington I've seen in that area. I think that if you put your time in anywhere in this state your bound to find a big one, they just don't like to be seen, hell, thats why they're big! ;)
