I'm almost sure something warped a little when metal got heated from welding. But how to correct it :dunno:
Cause I don't have any experience building one.But you can always hit it with a hammer till it goes.
There was a YouTube channel called
The ammo channel .That had a ak build .
I will see if I can find a link and post it for ya.

Thanks!
Does no look warped - they physically stick out and block the mag in the mag well - I have another set of rails and they are identical.
I'll check out that video.

Never mind I just looked .youtube deleted about 5 of the videos that the guy had on building it.That sucks cause the guy had all the videos on how to build it and YouTube deleted it .The main reason the guy doesn't post any more videos I guess.
Just Google search ak build and there is some more vids on it.

Question asked was: after welding rails into an AK receiver, the lower rails block the magazine from snapping in. Solution is to remove the lower rails.
