Jason, how do u like your new Hornady press? I see it’s in sale and have been looking at it.So far so good and I like it a lot! It’s been a little bit of learning curve from the single stages that I’m use to using but I cranked out the rounds without any hiccups. I do want to buy the RCBS lockout die and eventually the Hornady case feeder.

We are going to go full lockdown starting this week, so I'll get the kiddos prepping brass, teach them proper firearm cleaning, etc. Maybe do some archery practice for PE.

Also have a 375 ruger that I picked up on an impulse buy almost 6 months ago. Found a Leupold vx3i 1.5-5x20 with the super cool German #4 reticle and mounted it in QD rings. Loaded up some “mid level” 235gr ammo with some h414 that was taking up space on the shelf, still have yet to shoot it. Need to find out what my pain tolerance really is, to see if it’s gonna be a keeper or if I need to “downgrade” to a 9.3x62 or 35 Whelen for my “big gun” :chuckle:

Last week went to Wolverton Mt gun club. The day I didn’t check their calendar. Was the day they closed it for china flue. Lately loading for 223 Wylde and Ruger 204. Today most likely the Grendel.

Still waiting on my .450 bushmaster upper
Since im waiting for my .223 suppressor to get out of jail i figured i may as well get a bolt action .223 with a threaded barrel. Picked up a ruger american predator. Took the rail off and put talley lightweight rings on. Mounted a 4-16x44 viper thats been sitting in my closet for a few years. For now i just zeroed it at 20 yards, turned it down 20 clicks, and at some point bere soon ill be taking it to my parents house to use my dads bench and range, try out a bunch of different ammo, see what shoots the best, and finish dialing it in.
Put a red dot on my .444 and dialed that in
Waiting on a strike eagle to arrive, going to be my new .243 scope.

While I was in garage I looked at the work bench (that i just built last year) and thought “that needs to be linger than 5’.” So I’m going to rebuild it and extend it 2’ to make it 7’ longer. I need the space if i’m going to get a third reloading press.
I am in LE, so I am able to get away from house 40hrs a week.

356W - replaced stock, mag tube, load gate, and Duracoated barrel/action. Reduced the total weight down to 6lbs.
25-06 - Duracoated barrel/action and lightened up trigger pull. Next up is load testing with 120gr Partitions, and possible glass bed job depending on how I like the results (stock is in really good condition so am trying to avoid messing with it).
222 Remington - Durocated barrel/action. Stripped finish off stock. Next up, stock sanding, staining, and finishing. Glass bedding action screw and recoil lug areas, free floating barrel. Then load development for some new loads.
243 - Will refinish stock, glass bed, free float barrel, and work up some custom loads for my friend. TBD on of he wants me to do any refinishing work on the barrel/action.
12 gauge O/U - Duracoated barrel
16 gauge single shot - Scrubbed old rust off friend's barrel and Duracoated it. Will refinish his stock next.
35 Whelen - Waiting on Alliant Power pro 2000-MR powder order so I can work up some new loads with the updated Speer load data for my 250gr loads. 2700fps from a 35 Whelen with 250gr bullets in a 24" barrel? Holy smokes. Speer says the data was from actual tests and pressure tested, and various other forums have posted actual results to prove it's real. We'll see how my rifle likes it.
270 - Will begin making some custom loads for my friends 270 soon. Just need him to drop off the rifle.
7mmRM - Will lighten up the trigger pull on my brother-in-laws rifle, glass bed the action, and free float the barrel. Might work up some custom loads for him too, depending on what he wants.

Am really liking this Citristrip to get the prior finish off of stocks, haven't used it before. Working well. Doesn't have the stink of the regular chemical strippers, and can hang the stocks in the house where it's warmer.

Windows 10 has been horrible. I bet Ive lost 100 hours to it since it came out. Phasing out windows mobile device center was a big issue, although there is now a solid workaround.

So far, I've organized the tool bench (which has needed it for two years or more), a few small projects inside, cleaned all of the firearms and knives, and started today on stairs for the slope in the backyard. Just waiting on Lowes to tell me the lumber is ready for pick-up. God, there are tons of rocks in our yard - big suckers.
Got the steps in. I need to put something in the bottom of the forward/downhill edges to keep the dirt from bleeding down to the step below. As soon as I finish that, I'll finish filling, put down the fabric, and top it with crushed rock to match the patio area. I used some roofing flashing to keep the dirt in its own boxes. Fabric went down and the gravel is in place (Pic added). They didn't have crushed rock, so I'll need to stabilize with cement mixed in, probably one bag per step. Then, we'll just need to pretty it up around the outside.

Looks nice, looks like youve got a good garden area. We have a similar type path in our backyard, I took the easy route and dug in some flagstone for steps but I like the finished loom yours will have.

Them's fighting words. Re-imaging comes at the end of the string of failed Win10 recovery tools, registry edits, offline updates and downdates, kludges, and other assorted voodoo and kungfu, hours lost, and hilarious MS forum visits with their so-called certified masters who don't even read posts and just repost random crap from the internet. All because of failed Win10 forced automatic updates.
Two machines back up, though.
I use Linux Lite on a few devices, and updates are a dream. A 10-15 minute affair. Maybe a reboot. And it updates all software installed on the computer. MS should be ashamed.
Don't get me started on the Control Panel crap... Sure lets take the most important part of a OS split everything up and rename each tool and hide it in obscure locations.....

Software subscriptions are for suckers. Building my next computer soon, and it will be Linux Mint. I may run Win 10 in a VM just for a few programs that are necessary and not available on Linux. Subscribe to that.

I discovered that certain of Win 10 updates - ones that are uninstallable (of course, and the ones that hang), and oh yeah, forced and automatic, unless you edit 20-30 files to mark the packages as removable - wipe out your restore points. Fun time figuring that one out.

Our Dell Techs in the Boeing Laptop Center, do not even bother diagnosing passed, "did this happen on a wired network, and could a bad Dock connection cause this? One was a 7 to 10. Other was factory 10. Both borked themselves on failed, forced, auto updates. Now they are both Win10 1909, with a backup image stored on a NAS. Both were not mine, which was the real fun of it.
A friend called me to checkout his Win 10 install problems. It
I backup constantly to a USB drive, have a whole NAS drive and an old Windows Media Server sitting in storage. Haven't used them since we moved. :rolleyes:

Simple is beauty to me. Both of these knives were forged to rough shape from the same piece of 1084 steel, then finish ground. Both have walnut/white g10/mesquite handles. One has a brass bolster and the other has 416 stainless steel. They are not perfect but definitely getting better. Thanks for looking

Nothing new for me as Id have to slack on something to start a new direction. For now, getting the garden ready slowly and buttoning up loose ends as I prepare to get serious looking for huntable numbers of mule deer in overlooked areas I hope. Mules are my focus this season, will hunt each season as necessary, provided I can buy a left over multi-deer. First time ever I haven't drawn. If I cant come up with a worthy mule, its back to w/t for the late seasons.
