I thought I read Inslee vetoed a bunch of money that was supposed to shore up the wdfw budget on friday...IF true, I cant imagine they wouldn't get results out soon so they can get folks to buy before special permit apps close...every dollar counts when you are broke :dunno:WDFW broke

Not sure you understand how our point system works. You could draw with one point or 20. Just more likely with 20.

Honestly I don't know how to tell specifically. I just know we're not able to sell cars right now because we don't have a way to license them. Since I made that post we've been told there are very specific reasons or qualifications people can have where we can sell them a car, but it's very limited. Like first responders who need a vehicle to get to their jobs, a person's car gets totaled or needs more work than it's worth or something along those lines we can sell a car. I'm a service guy and am pretty much allergic to the sales side so I don't know all of the specifics. We went from having zero sales people here to having one guy here all day. It's crazy how many people are apparently calling wanting to buy cars right now by the way.

Wife's friend just bought a truck and then got laid off the next day, I'm not surprised they're still calling. I'd bet most of the DOL employees and wdfw employees are working still they're just not "working".

They should, but they never will, its a huge cash cow for them.

No on Elk, with 5 points. Can anyone explain why the state waits until the end of July to offer any surplus tags, when this is after the deadline for special hunts? Would seem like a better option to give anyone selected 30 days to pay, then offer them up.some people that drew won't buy their multi season tag until they see the draw results for the special permits in May.

If you are not drawn then refund it less the application fee.

It essentially is otc, other than the app fee. They really should cut the permit numbers down to the same level as elk.

You drew with 1 point, not zero. Impossible to draw with zero. If you put in for the first time you were in the drawing with 1 point.

Ya that’s why I want to get the elk permit one year. So I can put in for eastside special draws but continue to hunt west. I’m at 4 points for elk and first year I didn’t get drawn for deer. But I do plan to buy deer in August anyway.
