Any suggestions for a good book to read on Elk hunting? Wanting to add something to my book shelf. I am looking to increase my knowledge on calling, strategy, logistics, etc. Thanks.

I really enjoyed this one. From 1987, but a good read regardless.

I will look it up. Thanks for the reply. Do you own Llamas? I noticed one in your pic?

For strategy, calling, tactics... get Paul Medel’s (ElkNut) The Playbook. John Ericksons Tree Stand Hunting Rocky Mountain Elk is also worth having. If you really want to dive deep into the wapiti’s “whys and how’s” , get Elk: Behavior, Ecology, Conservation. Thanks

Finally a Book that's Cheaper than a Therapist and will answer all your burning Questions. :chuckle:

Ordered up the elk nut playbook. Hard to find any newer books on elk hunting out there, say 2010 or newer. I Guess people don't write books anymore?
