Sgt. Matt Nixon told KXRO radio an unrelated investigation led officers to a home in Hoquiam where they found evidence in February's case.
Nixon says the three used spotlights to locate the herd and shot and killed four females and a calf.
The two 19-year-olds and one 18-year-old could face charges of shooting elk out of season.

If this is true FRY THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but Sgt. Matt Nixon is a known liar. I personally witnessed Nixon lie in court under oath. No, I had nothing to do with the case he lied about, it had no impact on me at all.

Glad they caught the punks.

The penalty should be much higher in cases like this where they killed several animals and wasted all the meat. If it was a case where a guy killed an elk out of season and used all the meat to feed his family it wouldn't make me quite as angry as something like this. >:(
-
the sad thing is that they wont get as stiff a penalty as the guy that just cut down those cedar trees, this state is crap

I just can't understand people like that.
