The way we used get things done back in the day, (not to mention transplanting, via backpack) Trout Fingerlings in 5 Gal. (Steel) Milk Cans up into the High Mountain Lakes.)  :IBCOOL:

I had to chuckle a little when I saw how they were trying to get the marten out of the cage trap for tagging.
I have an easier way.

Good job mark ! That’s one reason why I like small cages for marten so they can’t slip past your arm and get out and ya they’re vocal when being handled
