Title: High hunt question
Post by: Dadofive on May 17, 2020, 02:28:58 PM: I've got a question that hopefully one of you can answer: If I get my deer permit with bow as my weapon of choice, can I still hunt the high hunt with a rifle as it is listed as any weapon for that hunt? It's worded in a way that's a bit confusing.

Post by: Bango skank on May 17, 2020, 02:31:13 PM: Its listed under modern firearm hunts. So youd need a mf or multi tag. All modern firearms hunts are "any legal weapon" as long as you have a mf tag.

But no, you can't use a rifle when you have an archery tag.

Yes. Hunter orange is required for all hunters in all general deer seasons open to modern firearms.
