Title: Let’s hope he makes it!
Post by: jetjockey on June 05, 2020, 06:42:21 AM
Last month sucked, and I had to do the unthinkable.  After 12 wonderful years I had to put down possibly the best dog I’ll  ever own (dog in my profile picture).  Georgia finished her carrier as a GFC/FC/AFC, and 3xAFc/5xRuFc.  She had 42 placements, with 26 of those being hour trials.  She finished in the top 10 for Dog of the year 5 out of 7 years she compete, and never out of the top 20.  Until recently, she was the winningest 1hour female in Brittany history, and today she is still the second winningest  female in Brittany history.  The cool thing about her was I could run her off horse and she’d run a nice All Age race one day, and the next day I could grab my shotgun and she wouldn’t range more than about 200 yards off foot.  She knew the game! Finding another like her will be difficult, if not impossible, but I’m hoping her grandson will fill those shoes. He has more style, more power, and could have what it takes if he has the same intelligence between his ears.  He just turned 2, but I like what I see so far.

We call him Tiger 2.0 because he reminds us so much of his great grandfather. I sure hope he makes it.

She's still chasin' 'em.

Good luck with the new pup.

Sorry man. 12 years is not enough. I’m sick just thinking about it. But her legacy lives on in Tiger 2.0. Best wishes.

Sorry to her about Jet.
They give us everything they have, and never ask for thing in return.
Dogs are amazing.

Terribly sorry to hear about Jet.  With time your wounds will heal, with puppies they heal quicker.

God bless.
