Hello Everyone, :hello:
WSTA would like to invite all of you to our 51st Annual Trappers Rendezvous.
We would love to see you there. If you have never been to one, this is the one you should come to.
There is something there for everyone.
If you are a New Trapper this is the place to pick up some information for the "How To" trap, put up fur, pick up supplies and talk to the people that are doing it.

Another idea for an activity would be to have a protest and "take over" eastern Washington and declare it an independent Country. Seems to work for folks on the west side of the State.

Maybe we ought to schedule that for Friday eve. As soon as all members get on this side, we could watch the Darrington contingent do a demo of how to fall timber. Soon as they dropped enough trees across both lanes of Stevens pass sos a Prious couldnt wiggle through, we could all head in in time for the potluck.

About 6 weeks to go so there is still time but there has to be rapid improvement. I have to know we will be able to use the facility by the middle of July so if we cancel we have time to get the word out.
We have some options if we have to cancel. The Fairgrounds have a lot of cancellations so I may try to reschedule to a later date possibly as late as the start of October.
The other option is maybe cancel the Rendezvous but hold the Board of Directors meeting. We need to get to Phase 3 for that.
I know none of this is good for you scheduling stuff but the best I can do.
I will let you know how things develop. Probably be mid to late July before I know for sure.

Inslee is just mad at us cause we are in the middle of a lawsuit with him. Cases are almost non existent at the moment here.

Inslee is useing his position of power to try to get us to listen to his nonsense.
First of all he is a bumbleing bully nazi wanna be.
Secondly he is trying to spank us here because we are Republican, and Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties are trying to sue him right now. He will continue to push to ruin us til we cowtow to him.
Inslee is the enemy of my State.

I have reserved the Chelan County Fairgrounds for the 2nd 3rd and 4th of October. As you can well guess that is dependent on the lockdown level. Because of that we are going to make a decision in September as to what kind of an event we hold if any.
We are sending out a postcard to let everyone know of the cancellation and we'll send out another in September to let you know if we are going through with the October event.
