The other thing is I feel like there are a lot of guys that didn't get drawn for anything this year and are spending $40-$100 bucks on raffles hoping to the be the winner.

East side elk almost 6200It was at 5,700 last week so 500 in a week isn't bad. Last year I think there were 4,253 sold at this time, 6,000 sold at the last update and 13,512 by the time they close sales.

I've never put in for the raffles before... One thing I wasn't quite sure if I am clear on:Any weapon during that time period but you have to be in a unit that is open for a general or permit season at some point. If it is open for deer in November for archery you can hunt december 15th with a rifle.

FYI the way numbers work is for example Steve buys two mule tickets, gets number 140113 and 140114. Scott is in line behind Steve and buys 100 moose tickets he gets numbers 140115-140214. At another store Erik buys 100 three deer tickets and gets numbers 140215-140314. This goes on all week and Steve decides to by 2 more mule deer tickets and gets 144113 and 144114 thinking that 4,000 mule deer tickets have been sold since his last purchase but that isn't true. 4,000 raffle tickets total have been sold but that is across all categories.

As of right not 12 of the 13 permits are spoken for. One lucky winner hasn't answered the phone or responded to the email, clock is ticking on that one permit. It may actually go to the second drawn ticket. They hope to have the lookup tab posted next week.
I don't know what permit it is that they are waiting on.
Bottom line, I am saying you have a chance.

Only one member has said they have a permit. The other two that have chimed in don't have the permit they only know that a person was contacted so you don't have to come on here for it to be known that the permit is spoken for.

The winner spent $73,200 on East elk and whitetail tickets. Came in 1&4 on East elk, 3 on whitetail. That’s a ton of tickets.

Since this is in the deer section did anyone notice that the mule deer winner bought 2,000/ $12,000 worth of tickets?Did you see how much the n.e. winner spent?
There was some crazy money spent this year on raffles. I am dying to see what the final numbers ended up being.
