Title: Palmer Lake Kokanee
Post by: Salmonstalker on June 17, 2020, 04:55:38 PM
I live on the Wet Side, heading to the East side for the weekend and was contemplating trying Palmer lake in Okanogan Co. I have never fished there before but I love Kokanee fishing and would like to give it a shot there. I think I read that the limit on Kokes was 10- separate from the trout limit as of last year? I cannot find Palmer lake in the regs so I am a little perplexed on what the limit is. A buddy was there this week and he said a local thought the limit was still 5.... My predicament is, it will be a 2 hour drive from where I will be camped, and if I have the opportunity to catch/keep 10, I will make the drive. If it is 5 I won't bother this time. Does anyone on here have more concrete info? Anything helps at this point! Thanks!

It's been a while since I've fished Palmer,  but we did very well with a bit of corn tipped on a pink squid behind a 4-5 inch dodger or lake troller.

Lot's of bass opportunity if you need a break from trolling, I was wishing I had more bass gear.

the public restrooms were incredibly nasty, worst I've ever seen.  Someone smeared fist fulls of dung floor to ceiling on the concrete outhouses
