Title: Bonneville shad?
Post by: Slothman60 on June 20, 2020, 01:37:42 PM
Anybody catching any shad around the Bonneville dam. Me and a buddy are gonna run down there for a first time trip and I’m wondering where to go and what to use or if it’s even worth it. Thanks in advance.

Typical shad killers, shad darts and tiny dick nite spoons kills them. Sometimes little crappie grub jigs gets them to. There will be plenty of others fishing just look for a spot with people find a spot and start fishing. When someone starts hitting them watch how they are fishing and colors they are using. That will shorten your learning curve.

Cheers and good luck
