What do you all think about this?

Specifications
Bullet Weight 145gr
Muzzle Velocity 1450 FPS
Energy 677 ft-lb
Depth of Penetration in Ballistic Gel 42"
look at the velocity vs the penetration! This is going to be a very light recoil compared to the BB/Underwood heavies, yet penetration is still very good.
Less recoil = more accuracy from the shooter, and faster between shots.
it is not cheap

Also, check out the 9mm woodsman penetrator
32" in the ballistic gel it might turn the 9mm into a decently penetrating weapon for woods use
-
Gel doesn’t have bone and hide. I’ll keep my 200g hard cast @1350. $18 a box. Still easy to shoot.
At 145g I’m surprised it’s not faster than 1450.

No thanks

Looks like a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist :dunno:

I'll stick with the Underwood 200g Hardcasts. As Igor pointed out I'm manly and studly enough to handle a little recoil at that increase in price! :chuckle:
-
I get that
I wonder how the woodsman penetrator would do out of a 9x25 dillion, shoot out of a G20 LW 6 inch barrel
-
I tested several 10mm penetrating loads on wood blocks that I could take apart to see what had happened. The 220gr Buffalo Bore was much deeper than several other options. The comparable Underwood was a couple of inches short.
-
It looks like a cheap attempt to copy what Lehigh is doing.
Also, I wouldn't give a dime to botach again. They are a terrible company to do business with.

Looks like it might sting a bit.
