Title: Upland Hatch 2020
Post by: shootem on July 28, 2020, 08:08:08 PM: I've been seeing lots of quail this year from the Columbia to Ephrata. Plenty of chicks. I haven't seen any pheasants tho. Anybody else seeing birds?

Post by: KDB on July 29, 2020, 11:41:40 AM: Hatch doesn't look to good around my place. Only 2 chicks in one family and 4 in the other. It was pretty cool and wet here in western Klickitat County during the nesting period.

Turkeys seemed to have a lot of failures but some have just hatched out what I assume is a second attempt.

Post by: huntingaddiction on July 29, 2020, 01:49:42 PM: I will know soon how good the pheasant hatch is when I make it over to fill feeders in Garfield county. Hopefully it's a good hatch cause the birds we were hunting late last year were smart. Plentiful but smart.
