Title: What dovetail for Globe Front sight on knight disk extreme
Post by: DQ on August 09, 2020, 02:53:35 PM
I have a night disk extreme. I swapped out the rear sight for the Williams peep and it’s great. I also ordered a globe front sight from Williams. Does any one know what dovetail I should order to mount that on the front?

I have a disc extreme with the front globe.  As long as the globe is the 17AHB  .404 height this is the ramp I used.

It is only a 1 screw ramp but I have had no problems.  The globe fits a tad loose in the ramp.  some guys will peen the base to tighten it up.  I just cut a couple of shims from an aluminum pop can and put them in the dovetail and then tap the globe in.  I center it and then put a drop of epoxy on each side to make sure it doesn't move.
