Been really trying to learn and be more determined this year with hunting. And that lead me into getting excited about the bear season.
I’ve been a few weekends and ended up Sunday finding some real quality sign. It was one smaller pile, but had berries in it and I thought it seemed fresh. Walked the gates old road a bit and found another pile. It was after work so I didn’t make it far.
Today after getting fogged out of where I tried glassing my buddy and I walked that same gated road. In 3/4 of a mile we counted 15 clear piles. Some old, some seemed fresh. It rained last night so it’s hard to tell.
If that’s a pretty good indication they’re using it, how would you go about setting up to hunt it. Just walk it a few more times and hope things work out or should there be a specific strategy.
