Anybody fishing the Carbon River for Kings and/or Coho? We used to fish it on Labor Day weekend with decent success but I have not been down there in a few years now. I know where to fish but curious if it's worth the drive from Monroe anymore.

The places you are used to fishing aren't probably set up how they used too be. Alot of the upper river got leveled off in the last flood and its alot of very shallow riffle water. Not a lot of good deep holding pools. Very heavy rocky bottom. Plus a lot of boots are to be expected.
