Title: Fishing near Twin Harbors?
Post by: scotsman on September 08, 2020, 08:38:06 PM

Next week we’ll be camping at Twin Harbors which is South of Westport. I get bored easily so what are some suggestions for surf fishing in that area? I have a good spinning surf rig but never had a chance to use it.TIA!

Keep your fingers crossed they will open razors, rumors are it is close to happening which means in the next 10 years or so.

Ive done well fishing north of the beach access at grayland many times. Berkly gulp sand worms in red and camo, crappie spreader and 1-4 oz weight depending on the tide.

Thanks, I’ll try the north access. Incoming or outgoing tide best?

I fish the3 hours leading up to high slack, and usually through high slack.
If you can make a drive to locate structure in the surf zone at low tide, then fish that structure on the i coming, you'll be into the perch for sure
