I've hit a couple spots on the snake, seen a lot of fish jumping and marked many many fish on the fishfinder but I have yet to see anyone out there hooked up to one? too warm still? The surface temp was 67 yesterday when I was fishing and visibility was super low due to the heavy smoke.

I just returned from the Klickitat yesterday. No kings upriver but they are stacked at the mouth now. Should be good in a week or so.

I missed a few good days of fishing while I was moving my Brother-in-Law home from Michigan, hit it yesterday and wound up with just one small wild steelhead that spit my plug at me as I reached for the net
Talked to several people that said the previous few days were great

The wife an i went above McNary 8 days ago. 8 trailers in the parking lot. I saw 2 steelhead caught, and i caught a wild one in the first 10 minutes. We fished for 3 hrs an never got another hit, saw a few more caught in that timespan.
What we did see was the most snow geese in my life. Wave after wave of them coming off the fields to the north, flying in a se direction. The blue sky looked to be white like sea foam there were so many. Lasted 30 minutes. 10,000 geese, probably a lot more? 95% snows.
