Didn't they make a new classification a few years ago, thought they call them cascade elk?I think I heard the same thing awhile back but believe it was just people saying it but not officially

East of I5 cascade Roosevelt up to the pct, I’m sure there are some hybrids closer to the trail

I meant that’s how there classified when they are scored for the record book. Lines don’t exist to elk, just hunters^^^^^^

That's true. Until your talking private property lines. Then they always seem to know where that line is. And they stand just on the other side from where you have access and tease you.
