Irerally havent had tne chance in a good while to have animal to prossess my own. We use to vaccum seal , but i see people with there meat wrapped is there any certian reason why one over other

Expense of the sealers, and bags, plus low volume of animals processed.
If I ever elk hunted again and got one I would probably buy one.
But not worth it for one deer, it disappears fast with family.

eik would be most likely animal being processed

Plastic wrap then freezer paper will keep it reliably protected for well over a year and is much more durable and cheaper than vacuum sealing. It's also faster and the packages are easier to stack in the freezer.
I only vacuum seal fish as you can't squish all the air out without crushing the fish and it doesn't have the freezer life that red meat does.
