Question for you late season archery hunters. do you have any success rattling or grunting in deer late season?
I have a couple cameras over bait out and will be checking them this weekend for any activity.
I was planning on setting a blind up if there is trying to get my daughters their first archery deer
Would rattling do any good or should we just sit and be quite?
Thank you in advance

Rattling won't hurt if you don't overdo it. That's all I've got. There's differences of opinion regarding rattling after the peak of the rut. Some swear by it, some say don't bother. I searched for "rattling for Blacktails" and there's quite a few threads on the subject, even late season rattling. I suggest you give those a read. If I remember correctly, you're down in Klickitat Co. Ratting in late season down there?? I really have no clue, but I'd guess that blacktail and benchleg blacktails should respond at least occasionally to rattling.
Good luck to your daughter.
