Title: GMU 233 - Pogue help
Post by: wsucoug93 on October 28, 2020, 08:26:01 AM: Good morning. I'm considering a weekend trip to GMU 233 but have never been there. I'm hoping someone can suggest a good area, access road, etc to gain access.

Post by: phildobaggins on October 28, 2020, 10:21:32 AM: Couldn't really help you for elk. I've hunted a lot up there and I don't think I've ever once seen an elk anywhere in that unit. Heard that they've been seen around Conconully. :dunno:

2 general season antlered elk killed in the Pogue last year, which is 2 more than I expected to find.
So there are some somewhere for sure.
