we found two cauliflower mushrooms saturday. One was almost as big as a basketball.
There were more smaller ones out that we left.

 Moved over here as there are more topics of this kind. Thought about putting it in cooking board but this seems to be more of a "get out and find some" thread.
Happy hunting.

Mild, I like the texture of them in soup.

10-4! Anyone find any lobsters? How are they doing? Posted about them a while ago, and got some advice but still have not found any!
-
I found some during muzzy elk but haven't been back out.
-
Pretty late for lobsters.... but got into a nice new Chanterelle flush on the 28th. Looks like they are still producing east of Issy.
-
Thanks for the input, found a few Sunday, still haven’t found a dang lobster, not for the lack of effort!!
-
What's a good price for chanterelles per pound?
-
I’m not a mushroom picker. But I ran across these. Can anyone tell me what they are?
-
I found a few fresh chanterelles out on the coast (as in, within view of waves) this weekend, so at least a few still around!

Sorry but it’s definitely a cauliflower. Found a fresh chant about a week ago. But seasons pretty much over.
