Doug, you're killing us! And these are the ones that don't make the cut for the calendar? Your photography is exceptional and same for your skills of finding beautiful animals.

Thank you!!!
In all honesty, the Calendar is probably not going to happen this year. My publisher stopped with the high grade option that Ive used for the last ten years. I can only use the cheaper version that many of the others use. I really didnt want to cheapen the legacy of Muley Madness. Secondly, I was afraid with limited time this year I wouldnt get the images. That was probably worng. I've stumbled into some really good bucks. I havent been sorting my pics. Just posting them as I go through them. I have to admit, its somewhat less stressful. I had contemplated on a coffee table type book, filled with nothing but bucks, but its only in the dream stages at this point. So far Huntwa and facebook have been the benefactors of my good fortune in the woods.

I like the dark lighting in that photo. Its like storm clouds just rolled in and the deer is giving the "I need to find a tree to lay under" look.
-
That pretty much sums up the moment. Wind was nasty, and it looked like it could wizard of oz at any moment
-
Great pic, as always Doug.
-
Real pretty buck
-
Absolutely great buck. Love seeing your bucks posted on here. I have a late archery tag up Entiat, and this is getting me stoked.
-
Man you really do get some amazing shots... Any of your bucks are quality in my book!
-
It's tough to tell with just that angle.
Go ahead and PM me the gps coordinates and I will confirm it.
Be sure to use PM. .... some of these people dont have good intentions like me

Those kind of bucks get me fired up. He may not be exceptionally wide, or tall, but the mass, the symmetry, the long forks, oh yeah, I love seeing those kinds of bucks.
-
Such a cool photo Bone. Thanks for posting them.
-
Thank you!
-
Another great pic Bone! I think you could probably sell out a first printing of a coffee table book with just the folks on this site!
-
Yes! Classic for sure. I've hunted sooo long to find that classic 4pt. Oh...some day, some day.
-
Quintessential classic pose and form!
-
Nice! We are definitely benefactors of your good fortune in the woods.
-
I just got a super classic. Holy smokes. Fingers crossed they turn out.
-

I would be interested in a coffee table book. If you decide to go that route I think many of us would be up for a pre order to make sure it's viable for you. I'd love to see a collection of past years included as well. Either way, thanls for sharing your amazing photos with us

Bang! Without hesitation.
:yeah:
Hopefully I don't embarrass myself for how little I know about scoring but if I had to make WAG I'd say 145-ish give or take. For you guys that are pretty good at it what would you guesstimate he'd score?

I'm no good either but looking at him on my phone I'd guess mid 160's. Solid buck and super symmetrical, definitely a beautiful classic 4pt
