Title: First buck... can it be 2021 yet?!
Post by: dangertheis on November 12, 2020, 04:49:06 PM: A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to harvest my first blacktail buck. Never thought I’d see a buck like this in the area I was hunting! What an incredible experience. I already can’t wait for next season.

I have spent the last 10 years or so salmon/steelhead fishing, and figured that I would enjoy hunting... finally pulled the trigger this year (no pun intended). I spent a lot of time studying and scouting, and it paid off. I couldn't have had a better way to start my hunting experience. I have no doubt I will be comparing every blacktail I see in my scope to my first!

I can't figure out how to respond to a specific post, but in answer to earlier questions - wadu1 the brow tine on the left side is just over 1/2" long. Boss, unfortunately I didn't take a picture of his teeth and elected to do a skull cap mount so I don't have them anymore!

I can't wait to learn more from all of you! Thanks for the support and welcoming me to the forum!
