Wow!!
-
truly an incredible animal
-
Nice buck! High fence?
-
Could be. Imo, it doesn't have the freakish look of a farm deer but easily could be. I Google foo'd Hunter Haven and came up with a bow shop but didn't look very hard.

High fence or not, I appreciate the hunter's obvious happiness about this remarkable beast. For me, though it's always a bittersweet experience to take a life, I also always see it as a moment to celebrate, to be happy. This guy radiates hunter success in the most understood, tangible expression of the spectrum of "success"!

That old boy snuck around a bunch of people for a long time, thanks

No Kuiu for that guy.
Beautiful buck!

Gorgeous buck!!!

Word locally is 100% not high fence. Obviously I'm only going off what I hear.

He's freakishly big, but doesn't have all the unnatural junk that farm deer tend to have.

Either way, I would like to see one of those things live on the hoof someday. Elk antlers can get huge for sure, but deer antlers can get almost cartoonishly big.
-
Incredible!

The deer's shoulder/neck in the top picture with the hunter makes it look like the old fella was just hitting the gym doing some military presses and what not...

I wouldn’t expect to see hunters orange on a high fence farm hunt.
