Here's a report from Montana's future Grizzly Bear Management.

Interesting. I didn't realize the north cascades recover zone was as large as it is on the appendix map it shows all recovery zones in addition to Montana's). The zone is very close to the city of Wentachee.

wow,thats pretty cool to see that many in one season but prob. pretty bad for deer and elk hunting the area. :tup:

Interesting to see the Bitteroot recovery zone which appears to to cover much of the Frank Church wilderness. I recall reading an article from Idaho F&G that as soon as a grizzly bear is confirmed to be living in Idaho they will start issuing grizzly bear tags to hunters
