Tried out early xmas gift today. LR-3 target camera. Set up camera/transmitter 15 ft from target and receiver unit near shooting spot. Pair with phone. Tried it at 1000 yards today. Wind was too much for load development but camera worked well. Auto numbers shots.
Have been using phone scope on spotter or just shooting steel, but this is a handy option for load development. For just shooting I still like the ring of steel.

That's pretty cool!

What brand? We have played with one but curious about your set up.

Had it for awhile now and leave my steel and spotting scope at home now for load development.
I do start wondering how to get 6 inch groups smaller at 1000 yards which I know is silly for an 11 lb hunting rifle - I know I can’t shoot better than that even if load was 100% perfect.

The answer is pretty simple. You just need a 1000yd indoor range to remove the weather variables :dunno:
