 Is it weird that while everyone wonders how it happened. My first thought  was how awesome  it would be find that, second thought, is it Washington legal? :chuckle:

These were my first thoughts! Boy that would drive a guy half nuts to have to look directly into the eyes of another dude day in and day out!

I don't know the dead head laws there, but that would be a cool find this spring. A dead head and one or two sheds laying on top of it.

I think the live buck found the other when it was already dead. Maybe it was shot and left by a hunter or even killed by predators but was dead for a while (maybe killed in an earlier season if that's how they do it up there). Then, Mr. Live buck encountered the dead one when he was in rut. He looked down and saw the head and antlers and went in to lock up and got stuck on a dead buck. Dead buck is already rotting pretty good so it only takes a day or two to rip the head off and move along.

It's mind boggling.
