I plan on taking a week and hitting NE WA and ID this year (I am from MT). Could come any of the first 3 weeks of May. Which would you pick? Wondering where I should expect to find the turkeys that time of year in terms down low or will they be up in the mountains?
Would also love to know what places get the most pressure so I can avoid them.
Thanks!

I'll be out the 1st week of May with my Dad. Seems to be the sweet spot for my schedule and usually has birds strutting around pretty good. I would think any of the three weeks you have would work if you are willing to put in the time to locate them. Last year they were down low and around the mid line area the 1st week of May. Quite a few yard turkey in some of the rural neighborhoods. As far as avoiding places, it's a roll of the dice. People will be where the turkey are. Rise up early and go to be late if you want the best advantage. Good luck! Turkey hunting is my favorite.
