Any one on here fishing the kokanee derby on Chelan tomorrow?
We are, got here about noon on Wed, managed to get 18 of 30 fish limit, then pulled all 3 limits yesterday.
Pretty windy out here now, got 11 in the boat by 8:30, now it's been tough with the wind, looking for calmer waters......lol

Have fun Pete. Supposed to be a windy sucker today but calming down this evening.

Yes, very windy. 3-4ft swells up around 25 mile.

How’s the size looking this year? Seems like they run in cycles up there...

So far 10-11" average, with a few in the 13" range.
They will get bigger as the season goes on.

Derby is done, we took 10th place out of 54 teams, $150 ain't bad for 10th place, it paid for dinner, drinks, and fuel for the boat.
We struggled, picked up the first 10 by 8 am, another 2 by 9 and then, a ghost town. Not a bite for 3 hours. We moved to another area, picked up our last fish needed for a 2 man limit at 1:29, then raced back to the dock to beat the 2pm weigh in deadline, made it with 8 min to spare.....lol.
Didn't take any pic of the fish, just the beautiful scenery.

That's awesome! I've gotta drag the boat over there someday, I keep hearing about it, but haven't made it over.
