Title: Marine area 1 and 2 lings and bottomfish.
Post by: Limhangerslayer on February 26, 2021, 01:36:01 PM
Does anybody get after them on the opener and if so do you find them in the same areas as say in August?  Mainly talking about the deep water areas. 350-400’ of water.

Yes... provided your not fishing to deep considering the fathom restrictions. Good ling holes in april are good in October.

Thanks, where we fish is in area 1 and not in the fathom restriction area.  Have our annual spring trip coming up the 19-21 of March and may switch from Roosevelt all the way to the ocean.  Still up in the air.

Likely hood of good fishable ocean weather is slim in March. Just a consideration.
