I could not be happier with him. I swear, pictures never do these mounts any justice at all compared to seeing in person.
Next to my other deer shoulder mount is funny to see the size difference. I had another thread on here about the process and updates along the way.
I love the finished product. He is up in a temporary spot till I figure out the layout for the room. Gonna be a challenge, the room is long and narrow and has this buck, a half bear mount, and soon to be my 2019 elk as a shoulder mount. Doesn't need to be any furniture in the room right?..... :chuckle:

What a stud! Turned out really good!

Looks great.

Looks awesome! Also, I have yet to see anything stating that furniture in any room is a must. :chuckle:

Dandy buck!

Oh my :yike: sweet mount, that guy is thick.

Thanks everyone. I love it.
And finally got around to measuring him out just for kicks, never really cared about score but for sure was curious.
I have gone through the measurements 3 or 4 times now. give or take a couple eighths I end up with about 125" gross and 120" net.

Thanks everyone! I couldnt be happier. Had it in the Portland Sportsman's Show Head & Horns Competition.
The way they read the rankings for everything that was entered for the show mine came in somewhere around the middle.
There was some impressive animals there.
