Ill post up my trail cam pics on this thread for the year
-
Starting the year off in Idaho bear hunting, also got a cam out for a giant whitetail I tried hunting last year and disappeared. Hoping he’s around again. I’ll be putting another up for a big bull elk I found last summer.
-
Eagle been hanging out here allot
-
Nice!!
-
More bear pics. Not getting much for size on any baits
-
Tagging along for the ride..
-
Great pics. I loved bating bear when it was legal in Wa.
-
More bears
-
.
-
Enjoying the pictures. Following this thread to watch more!!
-
Well all done in this unit for bears. Passed smaller ones in hopes of bigger ones. Moving onto another unit.
-
Pulled a cam in WA looking for a big bull elk. No show so far
-
Keep at it ones bound to show up eventually.
-
Love it, you are killing it on the pics!! Man I can't wait to move from the wetside.
-
We were done hunting and as it goes this guy shows up the next night :chuckle:
-
Great pics, its nice to always eyes in the woods!
-
Got this nice bull on one of my son in laws cameras, target bull! Second pic was him about a week ago, first pic from this weekend.
-
good bull!
-
Was finally able to get into my hunting spot and get to my cam. Attempted 2 weeks ago and snow was too deep.
-
.
-
Crazy deer in there. A lot of snow still
-
Nice!!
-
Holy wolf problem. Wow.
-
Holy wolf problem. Wow.
atleast no sign this year in the area at all. Last year on this date when I got in there to hang cam the area was trampled in wolf tracks and they stayed until Aug 28 and never came back until Nov 2. Rumor is IDFG took 2 large packs this winter from the heli.. hopefully this was one
-
Big head on this bear

You’re not kidding!!!!
Smoker for sure.
-
I bet that moose calf is happy that pack is gone!!!
Let that poor little bear grow a little bit. :chuckle: :chuckle: :mgun:
-
I love the variety in your pictures. Its hard for me to believe in this day and age that Washington still doesn't want Elk in certain areas but Wolves are OK!

No wolves where that moose calf is, but tons of bears and few cats. Hopefully it survives
-
Some new bulls showing up just before season
-
.
-
No idea what’s happened to his head gear. Bull body size is very big.
-
Walking in to check cams and get stuff ready I had a bull who I think heard me walking . Starts bugling I try and go down and away from him and he starts coming to me. Got to 6 yards until he saw me. The trail cam pic is of him
-
This is the bull I’d like to target, but hasn’t been back since august 9. I think he’ll be back when the cows move back into area. Hopefully sept 1 as I head in for 6 days
-
:yike: great bulls. Love the funky ones but that last one is a tank!!!!! Thanks for sharing
-
Give him a year he will get bigger :chuckle:
-
I hope you killed him opening day.
-
I hope you killed him opening day.
He has not been back since Aug 9th.. shortly after that almost all the cows left too! wherever the cows went I am sure hes with them. I just need the cows to come back. I did get close to the second big 6 I have on cam to only have a predator my guess is a wolf or maybe a cat chase them out of the entire drainage I am hunting
-
Few more bulls showing up
-
.
-
Nice! Good luck!!!
-
Got this little guy walking up a logging road.
-
Target
-
Got 6 different bulls on our cam in around a mounth! I could not post the 5x6 and a non typical 4x5

Got this little guy walking up a logging road.
is he a muley?!
No actually, he's a blacktail (unless there is a stray muley on the wet side) He has a fairly wide spread for a blacktail from my experience.
-
what... is there something in my hair....?
-
Some of my favorite bucks this summer...
-
I like this guy a lot, even if he's just a 3 point.
-
Tall 4x4 and wide 4x4
-
Haven't seen this guy in a little while. From the side, he looks terrible (he's just a 2x3). But from the front...
-
We call this guy Corkscrew. He's a young buck, but I don't know if I could pass him up.
-
All very nice pics guys .👌
-
.
-
Nose to the wind.
-
That is a nice buck up there! Same with that stud bull!!
-
I have this chunk on cam regularly but he's nocturnal and doesn't appreciate my ground scent.

nice bull!
-
Well the big bull at my Idaho spot left just before archery and returned in middle of rifle season . If I had a rifle tag he probably be dead, was bugling below my tent one evening.
-
Start posting some whitetails now.
-
I'm still peeved that with 5+ bears kicking around I still couldn't fill my tag. They disappeared during week 2 of modern rifle when the weather got bad and never came back.
-
You guys got some monsters on here.
Thanks for sharing ,wish I had better ones but I don't.

Some didn’t read the first post :chuckle:

Picked my cameras up today from a draw only area hoping to add some cool photos to this thread. 2 out of 4 cameras had the SIM cards stollen. Stupid freakin people.
-
Yeah… I thought this was supposed to be your personal thread of trail cam pics.
No, disrespect to the other poster’s (I said that in Ricky Bobby’s voice so you’re not allowed to be offended :chuckle:) if I wanted to look at a bunch of average trail cam pics, I would just scroll through my own.
-
It is my personal thread of my pics. guess they didnt read post 1 :chuckle:

not much to show on whitetails around the house this year, had more deer than ever this year, but lacked in over all bucks numbers. Biggest one I had posted on here the last pic was killed by a buddy during archery

I'll give ya two pics of the same buck.
He hasn't showed up since the 6th, so I don't know if a lucky bow hunter got him or not. Private property ,so private I can't even hunt it. I do have other pics ,a lot of pics of him ,but I don't want to show the background ,even these nite ones I croped a bit .
-
Here's his daddy from last year .
Never seen him again too ,on my cam one minute in someone's freezer the next.
It's kinda cool to look at the genetics from one year to the next.

Maybe :chuckle: :chuckle:
He could be right at the corner of public land.
You just never know. :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Very typical in these parts, glad he lived through the EHD!

Yup he made it through EHD!
Hunting season nobody knows.
He was with a doe for about two weeks at this cam every nite ,then gone.
This cam doesn't see a lot of buck action unless it's go time.
I was hoping he would stick around till the 15 of December so I would know he made it through deer season .
I'm kinda bummed out on that. Maybe he will show again next year at the rut. I only have to wait a whole year to find out.

Just slightly west of your house... facing slightly northwest. :chuckle:

Nope wrong direction.
But not to far from a house. :chuckle:
If it was my house I would definitely have hunting rights. :chuckle:
It's funny how you guys worry more about this or that ,then how nice the buck is. :chuckle: :chuckle:
I'm sure glad I don't show you guys the public land stuff anymore. :chuckle: :chuckle:

Lol, good buck, and I’m not worried about it, I used to sled as a kid on the hill directly north of your place, next to the “she shed.” Recognized the area, and the trail cam pic looked like the hwy west of your place.

This thread has been hijacked from nearly the beginning lol, sorry. It was a slow year for me on cams as well. One was not working (again), batteries ran out in another, since we thread jacked this this far 😂 I’ll add the biggest one I had on cam this year., kinda sad.

Looks like a timber buck! nice and dark

He must be rubbing in a burn or something. They're almost black. Way cool
-
I do have some cam spots picked out this year.
If I can afford the gas to get there to walk in and place a cam. :chuckle: :chuckle:

I do have a pic of a mountain timber whitetail with dark horns that I harvested many moons ago.
And it took me all season waiting for him to mess up and come out the timber.
Got caught with his pants down with two does ,when I finally nailed him.

Here are two of my last trail cam pics for 2021...
And no Tommy H these are not in my friends backyard.
:chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

And one more ......
Just shows the same buck packing one antler.
I'm still in prep mode for 2022 ,got a few lock boxes to tack together.
Bought a few of those locking cables on Amazon.
So ya I'm still gearing up for trail cam season as of now.
Got a few promising good spots ,where I seen bucks with my own eyes ball ,spots I've seen sign, then the old spots I've used for years.
This spot will get a lockbox, few spots last year that had SD cards stolen will get lock boxes.
